I join the Prospect Park team after 8 years with the Abington School District where I served as an Administrative Intern while teaching in the Business, Technology & Mathematics departments. In addition to my teaching certifications in K-12 Business & Technology and 7-9 Mathematics, I also hold a 7-12 English certification. In my years in Abington, I coached 7 seasons of boys baseball, 4 seasons of girls soccer, 3 seasons of boys basketball, and I served 5 years as the moderator of the School Newspaper while also co-running the Student TV Announcements Team. I have experience proposing and later drafting 3 original curriculums and in my time in Abington I had the extremely unique opportunity to teach each and every secondary grade level, 7th through 12th, while teaching 10 different Business, Technology and Mathematic courses.
My life as a student has seen many schools and many areas of study throughout the greater Philadelphia area. Growing up in Northeast Philadelphia, I am a proud graduate of Father Judge High School and I continued my education at Gwynedd Mercy College where I earned my undergraduate degree in K-12 Business Education in 2006. From 2007-2009, I continued my education and earned my Masters in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. In 2010, I returned to Gwynedd Mercy College and completed my second Masters in PA Educational Administration in Spring 2011.
Outside of Prospect Park School, I am a Delaware County resident and a husband to my wife, Jill, and proud father to our son, Ryan. I am a true Phillies and Eagles fanatic and huge fan of NCAA March Madness. I completed my first Half Marathon in September 2013 and I compete in the Tough Mudder 10+ mile obstacle course challenges each Spring/Summer with my friends.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns. I look forward to a great career with the Interboro School District and a successful 2014 at Prospect Park School.
